"The Third Seal of Revelation" by Tricia Tillin
Part One: Introduction
And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
Are you willing to consider the prophecies of the bible?
I believe God spoke the truth, and we can prove it by what is happening right now. Certain events were supposed to happen, in sequence, leading up to the end of this age, and the beginning of a new world.
Almost every religion on earth has the belief that the ages will end, and after a great apocalypse, things will change on earth for ever.
The prophecies contained in the bible are the only ones, of any ancient or
modern-day manuscript, that have NEVER been incorrect, or proven false!
Of course, there have been many so-called christian fakes. There have been many cults claiming to know about the End, and they also have been proven false. But the bible itself has never yet been proven incorrect, on even one prophecy - isn't that something to make you sit back on your heels?
The hit-rate in terms of accuracy of a psychic or medium is thought to be astounding when it reaches over 50 percent. Just think, half of your prophecies turn out to be misleading or false, and yet you are still acceptable as a psychic. However, the hit-rate of God in the bible so far has been 100 percent. Yet nobody pays heed to him....strange.
The Third Seal
Let us pass on to the subject of this article - the third seal of Revelation, which I believe is beginning to open, if it hasn't already happened. If you are familiar with the Book of Revelation and know about the scrolls, the horses, the seals and all that, you can skip to the next page. If not, read on...
Scrolls and Seals
A very brief summary of Revelation is needed, to set the scene.
When Jesus was about to leave earth, he told his followers when to expect his return, and what signs would precede it. He gave a short list of events that were the beginning of "sorrows" a Greek word meaning labour pains or birthpangs. (see below for example)
- Great Deception and False Christs, so subtle that even believers could be fooled
- Violence, fighting, troublespots round the world, wars, talk of wars
- Famine and want
- Troubles (specifically plagues, pestilence, people dying)
These four signs as foretold by Jesus are also found in Revelation. In chapter five a scroll with seven seals is brought forth, and Jesus (the Lamb slain) is found worthy to open it. When he does, it results in spirit horsemen riding out from heaven, each one with a specific (and limited) task.
As you can read in my other article about the seals, the first two seals have already been opened, and in this particular article I want to discuss what the third seal involves.
